It grabbed the biggest weekend gross for a live-action release in eight or fewer screens. La La Land also won the TIFF People’s Choice Award in September and the New York Film Critics Circle’s Best Film in December. Not long after, Emma Stone also sang “Audition” for another teaser trailer of the movie.
