Tricia Centenera On Her Failed Marriage With Gab Valenciano

Tricia Centenera, ex-wife of Gab Valenciano, used her blog to share what life has been since her public split. In her blog she wrote, “March 27 – My phone has lit up like a Christmas tree of messages & memories of what was a fantastic wedding celebration but the matter of the fact is that even though the wedding/weddings were magical, the marriage was not.” 

Tricia added that she saw Gab, son of singer Gary Valenciano, on the night of their anniversary, but they both failed to realize what the supposed occasion was. “We had a friendly embrace & were surrounded by family, it was nice,” she added.

She also had a message to Gab’s haters, saying “My ex-husband I believe is a good man who has just made some bad choices.” Tricia also considers Gab a friend. “Yes this man broke me however I didn’t let it ruin me forever. Through sincere prayer, petition & forgiveness, I can now call him a friend even though the expectation is that as his ex-wife I should hate him, I honestly don’t.”

Tricia also emphasized on her blog how empowered she is. “And to those asking me how I feel today I want to tell you this… I FEEL EMPOWERED,” she wrote.

She believes many women have done what she did, hers was just public. She adds that she did what she did “to better my situation & protect my body, mind, soul & most importantly my spirit.”

The split

Four days prior to her blog post, Gab Valenciano shared through his Instagram Story an apology. Angeli Pangilinan Valenciano, Gab’s mother, later posted this on her Instagram. Her lengthy caption basically talked about her family.

Tricia Centenera and Gab Valenciano got married three times. One civil wedding in the United States in October 2014 and two in the Philippines in March. The celebrity couple split just after a year of marriage. Their cryptic tweets sent everyone into a frenzy.

According to an exclusive from PEP, a source told them that infidelity and money was the root of their break up. The source included four names of girls Gab allegedly cheated in Tricia with, Alodia Gosiengfiao, Lauren Reid, Issa Pressman, and Dani Camcam.
