2. Kristine Hermosa-Sotto

Speaking of the teleserye Pangako Sa ‘Yo, Jericho’s other half in the show, Kristine Hermosa-Sotto, also celebrates her birthday in the same month. Kristine blows her birthday candles a little earlier than Jericho on September 9. She also gained success with her roles in Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas and Dahil May Isang Ikaw. Kristine is now a mother of four children with actor and host Oyo Sotto.

3. Carlo Aquino

Starting his career as a child actor, Carlo Aquino eventually rose to stardom during the late 90’s to the early 2000’s as a teen actor. His performance in the 1998 film Bata, Bata… Paano Ka Ginawa? alongside actress Vilma Santos received critical recognition. He turns a year older on September 3.

4. Erich Gonzales

The ABS-CBN reality talent search Star Circle Quest winner celebrates her birthday on September 20. Erich Gonzales achieved her biggest break with the role of a teenage mother in the TV adaptation of the film Katorse. She has also starred alongside Thai actor Mario Maurer in the 2012 Filipino-Thai movie Suddenly It’s Magic.

Erich shares the same birthday with actress Cristine Reyes. Like Erich, Cristine was also a contestant of the GMA7 reality talent search StarStruck. Her first film No Other Woman with Anne Curtis and Derek Ramsay became the second highest-grossing film in the Philippines in 2011.

6. JM de Guzman

Actor JM de Guzman began his career as a print and TV model. Currently, he stars in Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Araw Gabi with Girlfriends member Barbie Imperial. Their strong chemistry created a huge following and the fans formed a loveteam called “JuanBie.” JM turns a year older on September 10.

7. Louise delos Reyes

Louise delos Reyes got her first break when she was cast as leads with actor Alden Richards in the GMA7 primetime drama One True Love. Young actress Krystal Reyes stole our attention for her role in GMA7 teledrama Bakekang back in 2006. Her role as Anghelita in the 1978 film Mga Mata Ni Anghelita TV adaptation became her biggest break. Krystal celebrates her birthday on September 8.

10. Kara David

Journalist and TV host Kara David turns a year older on September 12. She is the only woman among the awardees who was named in 2007’s Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) award. Kara is also the second Filipino to win the Peabody Award. She has over a hundred documentaries films of which also received awards and recognition on the topics she has tackled. Kara founded the non-stock non-profit foundation Project Malasakit that sends poor Filipino children to school.
