A Love To Last Feb. 22 Episode Recap: Xian Lim vs Ian Veneracion
In this “Harapan” episode, Anton (Ian Veneracion) finds Totoy (Xian Lim) in his office. Totoy wants facts, so he asks Andeng’s client if they are actually rivals. Totoy even complains about Andeng’s work schedule. This happens to Anton after a stressful, headache-causing meeting with the board for an international tech fair.
Anton says Totoy should not worry. The boss thinks Andeng has a better chance at being happy with Totoy. Despite this exchange, shippers of Anton and Andeng are convinced that two are meant to be together. Some fans believe that Xian Lim’s Totoy would just have to let go, eventually.
Meanwhile, Andeng finds time to talk to Tracy (Matet de Leon) about Anton and Grace (Iza Calzado). Their colleagues leave them to look for a bar where they can listen to a live band. While catching up, Tracy concludes Andeng has really fallen for Anton. She is more than just concerned, Tracy says. Andeng loves Anton. For her part, Andeng does not even try deny it.
Malate – Andrea and Anton Moment
After the gap, Wency Cornejo appears as Anton’s friend. Wency invites Anton and Xian to jam, on guitar and keyboards, respectively. As fate would have it, Andeng’s colleagues found the exact same bar where Totoy and Anton are jamming with Wency. Andeng could not have seen this coming: the two most important gentlemen in her life are both on stage.
Anton bails early, saying he has to get up early for the kids. Tracy quickly finds an opportunity to give Andeng and Anton some time to talk in private. Anton gets nostalgic, talks about music and his youth. “Sana naabutan ko ‘yung Malate na naabutan n’yo,” Andeng says.
It’s a beautiful moment, until Andeng asks Anton: Why, really, are they together in the bar? Anton avoids answering directly. He tells Andeng that he and Totoy have a few things in common, including music and her. Anton then drops a line that seems to have stabbed Andeng in the gut. He says she would be happy with him. It is an act of letting go, and Andeng is left hanging, uncertain of what to feel.
Meanwhile, in the Noble household, Chloe (Julia Barretto) is getting ready for her debut, while Lucas is hanging out at their mom’s hotel room. Grace gives Lucas just a little bit of hope that maybe in the future, they could hang out as a family again.
