A Love To Last March 9 Fans Ready For Anton To Declare Love Again
“Ba’t gano’n Sir Anton? Kung kailan mahal na kita, may iba ka nang mahal?” Andeng says out loud outside the Tech fair venue. She thinks no one could hear. But it seems Andrew (Enchong Dee) overheard him.
While mulling over her feelings for Anton, wondering if “huli na ba talaga ‘ko?” Anton walks in to offer some help. He couldn’t drive her around, though, because Andrew butts in. This is Andrew’s way of taking care of Andeng.
Anton later gets another chance to accompany Andeng to one of errands relevant to Mr. Hoffman. While they are driving, Andeng tells Anton: Bea Rose might get upset. She would look for him. Anton says it’s okay, because he would see her when they get back. Andeng is visibly disappointed. It’s not what she wanted to hear.
Andeng is more convinced than ever that the two are now a couple. She’s getting more jealous by the moment, while Anton is not doing anything to calm her down. Or, Andeng is just more confused over the mixed signals. In her mind, she is begging for Anton to stop looking at her the way he does. Try as she might, how can she stay mad at him?
“‘Pag kasama kita, nawawala lahat ng stress ko,” Anton thinks to himself after telling Andeng he has to join her in completing Mr Hoffman’s errand. He can’t wait to tell her how he truly feels — again.
Andeng Blames Herself For Feels, Reveals Love For Anton
As fate would have it, Andeng and Anton get two flat tires. Anton immediately calls Tom (Bernard Palanca) for help. Just when Andeng starts to panic, Anton finally says something right: “This feels right, being stuck here with you.”
In the middle of the road to Baguio, while they are stuck. Andeng breaks down. She opens up about her selos, galit sa sarili, panghihinayang.
“(‘Pag) tinitigan mo ko ng ganyan,” She tells Anton — who is melting hearts at the moment with his loving gaze — she begins to hope again. Andeng says she should not feel bad because she had turned him down in the past. Andeng lets it all out. No holds barred. She has no more strength left to pretend she’s okay. Meanwhile, Anton is quietly listening before the series cuts to commercial. Every fan’s heart is pouncing at the moment. The commercial break is just too long.
It must be noted that Andeng is wearing her lucky red scarf in this scene. It’s the same scarf that Anton noticed in Germany, the one that’s supposed to bring luck in love, as Andeng told Anton.
“Ayun,” Andeng tearfully breathes right after commercial break. Anton’s smile should tell her everything’s okay. But Andeng still thinks she’s too late. “Pinagtatawanan mo ba ‘ko? Kasi hindi joke ‘yung sinabi ko,” Andeng continues to sob. Not giving her another chance to speak, Anton cups her face for a kiss, on the lips, for a really long time.
The culmination of this big A Love To Last moment happens in ALTL March 10. Tondeng fans should not miss this Friday’s episode.
ALTL March 9 Reveal: Michael, Grace Together For Two Years
Lucas (JK Labajo) calls his mom Grace (Iza Calzado). He tells her Kitty (Hannah Lopez Vito) is getting closer to Andeng. Grace gets alarmed again. She fishes for intel: Are Andeng and Anton very close to each other? “Baka sa work lang, ma,” Lucas says.
While the two are talking, Michael (Troy Montero) arrives and greets Grace. She quickly hushes him. Michael is upset. How come Grace’s children still do not know him? They have been together for two years now. Grace says she does not want to hurt her children. Viewers are left to judge whether Grace is being sincere, selfish or manipulative at this point.
Meanwhile, Anton gives Chloe (Julia Barretto) his permission for her to attend the ball. She daydreams about Tupe (Ronnie Alonte) telling her she is the one he loves.
At the ball, Tupe notices he can’t be himself around Jenna (Claire Ruiz).
