Two of the major television networks in the country today are set to offer new and fresh drama concepts to their loyal and avid viewers. ABS-CBN is set to launch three new teleseryes which inlcude Bagani, Playhouse, and No ordinary Love. On the other hand, GMA is more than ready to showcase three other drama series which include Contessa, Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka, and Bongga Ka Day.

The afternoon and primetime dramas will be filled with kilig, action, comedy, humor, and revenge.

Must-Watch Teleseryes this 2018

1.Bagani

After starring in their hit show “Dolce Amore” and movie “My Ex and Whys,” Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, dubbed as Lizquen, are ready to conquer Philippine Television once again with their newest teleserye, “Bagani.” “Bagani” is a culturally inclined drama which talks about the Filipino legend Malakas and Maganda. Bailey May and Ylona Garcia were supposed to be part of the main casts but were replaced by Sofia Andres and Makisig Morales due to conflicting schedules. The series will replace La Luna Sangre on March 5.

2.Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka

This series is dubbed as GMA’s first “advocaserye.” It talks about Human Immunodeficiency Virus or HIV. The story will revolve around a woman, portrayed by Yasmien Kurdi, who works at the bar and will eventually meet a guy, portrayed by Mike Tan, who comes from a rich family. The guy’s mother will not approve their relationship and will do everything to break them apart. The girl will acquire HIV from another guy, played by Martin del Rosario, who is obsessively in love with her. Mike Tan will take away their children from Yasmin and more challenges happen.

3.Playhouse

Angelica Panganiban, Zanjoe Marudo, and Kisses Delavin join forces in Kapamilya’s newest family-comedy-drama series Playhouse. Angelica and Zanjoe will portray the role of a couple who are on the verge of a break up. But before they could even solve their problems, a new dilemma comes which can either save or destroy their relationship.

4.Contessa

Glaiza de Castro is coming back with a vengeance after her great performance as Pirena in “Encantadia.” Contessa is a new Kapuso series which will premiere in March replacing “Ika-6 na Utos” in the Afternoon Prime Time. This will serve as a reunion project of Glaiza de Castro and Geoff Eigenmenn after “Grazilda.” The show also includes Jak Roberto, Gabby Eigenmann, Lauren Young and Dominic Roco.

5.Bongga Ka Day

Barbie Forteza and Derick Monasterio will be casting this new rom-com teleserye. The series will showcase the beauty of Cebu City where almost all of the scenes were taken. Derick and Barbie have worked together in teleseryes such as “Mariposa,” “Luna Blanca,” and “The Half Sisters.” So there’s no doubt that “Bongga Ka Day” will be as successful as their past teleseryes.

6.No Ordinary Love

Piolo Pascual is coming back to Philippine television with his newest show No Ordinary Love. He will be joined by Arci Munoz and JC De Vera. Piolo will play the role of a man who fell inlove with a much younger woman (Arci). This series also marks the television debut of Empoy Marquez and Alessandra de Rossi, the stars of the hit indie film Kita-Kita.
