The biggest cosmetic enemy today is a little red bump. Harmless as it may seem, it usually calls in reinforcements when it gets the chance. And when it gets it, it gets it. And while we all associate its roots to various things in our environment, the solution all goes down to hygiene– and the correct one at that. When talking about Skin hygiene in the Philippines, Celeteque stands as one of the famous ones. And they do so for a reason. Celeteque Dermoscience as mentioned is a skin care line that isn’t for coating up the skin, but for protecting it. Their products are mainly moisturizers, facial washes, toners, creams, etc. They may have upgraded to some liquid foundations and BB creams today, but their goal stays the same: to give you the skin-safe product you didn’t know you needed. One of their products that always gets sold out is their Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer.

The Celeteque Hydration Moisturizer is this 50 ml or 100 ml white tube that contains a hydrogel formulation– meaning, a water-based gel formula. It’s not oil, it’s not cream. It’s a clear product that dries up as quickly as you smudge it across your face in circular motions. And for people having facial blemishes, you can count this as a viable solution.

While devising your strategy in eliminating those bacteria-infested pores, creams come into mind. It’s not a sin to want to simply zap your pimple away by coating it with a cream that dries out the skin. Most of the time, that causes problems too– specifically to the skin surrounding the pimple. So instead of going head to head with those fighters, why don’t you stop the next one? At least, that’s what ran through my mind when I was faced with acne. Soon, I came across the Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer.

Celeteque Hydration Moisturizer vs Your Pimples

Admittedly, the price caught my attention the most. It was incredibly cheap (PHP 115 for 50ml and PHP 230 for 100ml) compared to usual moisturizers I buy that cost PHP 500. I also noticed that it was hypoallergenic and oil-free. So I snatched the tube up and ran to the counter.

What I love most about the product besides its price and non-greasiness, is that it’s fragrance-free. It comforts me that it doesn’t have alcohol or anything too acidic for my skin. It’s even applicable to all skin types! Especially dry ones.

Putting it on, it feels like splashing water– but in gel form. It dries quickly, and you may think that it doesn’t moisturize you at all. Contrary to that, the softening, moisturizing effect comes in within a few minutes of application. And it turns your skin super smooth.

My battle against the bumps, it was a long one. But patience rewarded me. After religiously using the Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer, fewer pimples grew on my face. And if they did, they wouldn’t be as gigantic as the previous ones. And that made me one happy teenager.

One con I would list under this is that it doesn’t have SPF. At least, on the product I buy. Although some other Celeteque moisturizers have SPF and are still priced reasonably.

I definitely want everyone to try the Celeteque Hydration Facial Moisturizer. It’s not a risky move. It’s got science to back it up, and a friendly price to help you out. And while this is an great moisturizer for keeping the skin healthy, it would be more effective if you use it with their other products such as the Celeteque Hydration Facial Wash (PHP 139) or their Celeteque Brightening Toner (PHP 180) that are just as effective. And affordable too!
