Fans were waiting if her on-screen partner, Alden Richards, would notice or at least like Maine’s photo on Instagram which had everyone talking. Well, wait now more because Alden has spoken. Maine of the on-screen power couple AlDub got Twitter in a sort of a panic when she deactivated her account on June 6. This came amidst issues on being linked with co-star Sef Cadayona. Some of her latest tweets were captured right before her account was deactivated. It seems as if the actress just wanted to take a break. Below, Maine reveals all. Days after, rumors then broke out about Maine leaving for Maldives. There were no confirmations, however, not until Maine posted two sexy skin-peeking photos on Instagram. Alden to Maine, ‘Ginulo mo buong Pilipinas’

Alden Richards finally commented on Maine’s hot summer bod. In a report by GMA, he says “Maine ano ba naman, ginulo mo buong Pilipinas.Hindi, joke lang.” He continued by saying he genuinely admired Maine for achieving a super fit body. He even said, “Ginalingan eh.”

The actor also revealed that he was one of those who really saw how Maine worked for the body that she’s so proud of. He shared how Maine went on a diet to really trim down. Alden said she would only eat asparagus and chicken breast. He then congratulated fo her efforts and said, “Good job idol.”

Maine Mendoza is now part of the partial results of the Top 10 sexiest women of FHM Philippines as stated in the report. Alden feels very happy for Maine.

Maine reveals reasons for deactivating Twitter account. On Maine’s blog post, she explains why she decided to deactivate her Twitter. She says Twitter has been really “toxic” lately and began to remember the days when everything was just fun. She says there was too much negativity lately and says she had negativity in her life.

A report by PEP further explains this. A fan asked Maine to return to Twitter and asked her to just block bashers. Maine says it wasn’t actually about bashers or the baddies. She was more affected by the negativity of AlDub fans. She says, “It’s just lately, some of the fans are the ones to start and engage in conflict until things start getting blown out of proportion. It’s gotten to a point where fans are quarreling with fans too and not with bashers anymore.”

She further asked fans to stop the hate comments and go back to the bayanihan days and the kalyeserye days when everything was just fun. This all started when Maine was linked to Sef Cadayona. Some AlDub fans didn’t want anyone but Alden in Maine’s life. Sef explains that there are no truths to rumors that he and Maine are dating. Maine refuses to comment on the issue as stated in the report. In one of Maine’s Twitter posts, she explains she doesn’t always need to defend herself.
