Benjie opens up about his ex, where their relationship lasted for three years and how his emotional breakup went. It was also in the last episode where Sinag hurt her foot and Benjie had to carry her home, with a jealous Badong (Juancho Trivino) with them. For tonight’s hashtag, it’s #DTBYMahalNaNgaBa Destined To Be Yours March 14 Episode Recap: Ninay (Sheena Halili) visits Sinag, who still can’t walk, in her room. Ninay insists that Sinag is falling for Benjie, and that she should already agree to become his girlfriend. Sinag questions that maybe Benjie isn’t the one for her. Sinag reflects on this by talking about it on her radio show. She shows signs of opening up her heart to loving once again. Sinag relates love to a compass, in a way that it can bring you to the right person. She questions herself if she is already in love with Benjie, and that if its all right. All this happening in her head while she and Benjie fly kites together. Sinag slowly realizes that there’s no going back to what she’s beginning to feel. Benjie texts Sinag the next morning and sends her cute morning messages that leave her smiling from ear to ear. The two continue to exchange texts, with Benjie sending texts aimed to win her heart. Because of Benjie, Sinag is in a great and cheery mood, making her parents question her incredibly happy mood early in the morning. Benjie And The Mayor Talk Business Jason (Dominic Roco) explains their plan to Mayor Escobar (Ronnie Henares) because he’s getting impatient with Benjie. Benjie plans to make Sinag fall in love with him so that it would be easier for them to ask for the Obispo’s land. Hearing this, Marjorie (Koreen Medina) is the one who can’t stop smiling. Her smile radiates as she’s once again confident that she has a chance with Benjie. Not only that, she plans to take her revenge on Sinag. She’ll let Sinag have her happy moment since she doesn’t know the truth yet, and bring her down when its time for the truth to be revealed. Sinag Vs. Love Arman (RJ Padilla) disguises his voice and calls Sinag while she’s on air on her radio show. He asks Sinag how does one person know if they are in love. Sinag enthusiastically replies with maybe its when you always think about that person and you feel inspired, but there’s no exact explanation. That’s just love, no questions asked. Arman pushes it a little too far and insists Sinag is in love, so she quickly turns down the idea and says she knows its Arman calling her. Sinag’s friends don’t give up easily, Ninay is still continuously persistent but Sinag is still doubtful of both Benjie and her feelings. She asks why of all the girls in Pelangi, why did Benjie choose her? Ninay continues encouraging Sinag and her path to love with Benjie. The People Of Pelangi Benjie visits Sinag while she’s on break from her radio show and offers to accompany her after her show. Sinag and Benjie go to Sinag’s favorite place in Pelangi, where they pass by painters. She explains that letting the Rosales’ have their way with Pelangi’s land isn’t the right choice for them. Benjie still insists as he has to convince her for his plan to work. As they walk, the people of Pelangi tease Sinag about Benjie being her boyfriend. She shows him her life in Pelangi, and that she practically knew everyone. Sinag even lets Benjie taste freshly picked raspberries. The episode ends with Benjie seeing just how close Sinag is with the people of her hometown. “Destined To Be Yours” airs Mondays to Fridays on GMA at 8:30 PM right after “Encantadia”.
