NBC’s America’s Got Talent returns for its 12th season with a new host, Tyra Banks. Howie Mandell, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell also return as judges. Since the auditions started on May 30, 2017, over 60 auditions have aired. More than 10 auditions have breached the million mark in terms of views. But more than 4 auditions have gone viral, with over 7 million views on AGT’s YouTube channel alone.
AGT 2017 Top 5 Viral Auditions So Far
1. Twelve-Year-Old Singing Ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer – 23.9 million views, Mel B’s Golden Buzzer
On top of the list is 12-year-old singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer. This charming girl comes on stage with her bunny Petunia. When Simon asks her why she chose ventriloquism as her act, she says that she wants to keep the art alive because it is not very common. When they start, Petunia belts out a rendition of Ella’s Summertime, much to the surprise of the audience. Darci’s ventriloquist singing voice impressed the judges too.
Mel B was searching for words to describe how great Darci was, and then she ends up pressing the Golden Buzzer. Darci Lynne goes straight to the live shows. Watch her audition below:
2. Deaf Singer Mandy Harvey – 16.9 million views, Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer
The next audition on the list is an inspiring deaf singer. Mandy Harvey is a 29-year old woman who has been deaf since she was 18. She tells Simon her story that she had a connective tissue disorder that left her deaf. It took her some years to get back into music but she says she hopes to come back through this. Mandy then goes to perform her own composition, Try.
The audience goes wild, as Mandy’s voice is very beautiful. Simon is left in awe and called one of the most amazing things he has heard. Mandy got the privilege of getting Simon’s Golden Buzzer. Watch her inspiring performance below:
3. Nine-Year-Old Celine Tam – 16 million views
This charming 9-year-old was actually a part of Britain’s Got Talent 10, but she had to drop out because of visa issues. Now she comes back to America’s Got Talent. Saying that her parents’ named her after their favorite singer, Celine Dion, she then sings My Heart Will Go On. Celine takes the judges and the audience by surprise with her amazing voice. She also sings such a big song quite effortlessly.

4. 16-Year Old Christian Guardino – 8.6 million views, Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer
Christian starts off a bit nervous, but after talking a bit about himself with Simon, he seems to be ready to start his audition. He takes on a big song for a kid his age – Who’s Lovin’ You. And he slays it. Simon’s jaw literally dropped a few lines into his performance and Howie could not help but stand and clap. At the end of his song, Simon is surprisingly speechless, while Mel B sums it up by shouting “What just happened!!”
When Howie asked him for his greatest wish, Christian said he wished he would get the Golden Buzzer. And Howie gave him his wish. Watch his audition below:
