This time, fans are about to witness a fresh face who will be taking the film to a whole new experience. “War for the Planet of the Apes” will be introducing young, rising star Amiah Miller as Nova. Amiah Miller plays Nova in ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ Twelve-year-old Amiah Miller will play a fitting role as the seemingly orphaned girl in “War for the Planet of the Apes.” She will portray Nova, the mute, ‘virus-ravaged’ child who will be taken under the care of the orangutan Maurice (Karin Konival) and the rest of the Ape race. Other than her close connection with Maurice, Nova will also be one of the very few who will be able to reach out to Ape Leader Caesar (Andy Serkis) in an extraordinary way. Her character will serve as the middle ground in the intensive war for survival against two, unlike species. A critical role, Amiah will portray an ironic role who is both a foe in essentiality, but a friend at heart. Not the easiest role to play, Producer of “War for the Planet of the Apes” Dylan Clark expresses his approval of the casting. He comments, “Matt, our casting director Deb Zane and I were all in agreement that there was only one young actor to bring in for the role of Nova and it was Amiah.” Even Director Matt Reeves commends Amiah, saying: “Amiah is such an intuitive young actor. When she came in to audition we threw away the script and I just asked her to relate to the apes. It was clear right then that she was special and had a talent way beyond her years.” Watch War for the Planet of the Apes this July The plot story of “War for the Planet of the Apes” is circled around a failed, tragic scientific experiment that leads to the extinction of the human race and the mutation of highly intellectual apes. Fifteen years after the chaotic collapse, the tug of war for existence begins.
