It’s Feb. 1, and we are getting closer to summer. How are your diet plans and fitness goals doing?  That sleek pants your best friend gave you and that cute top personally made by your sister — is it still hanging in the closet left for future use?  Do not fret.  Here are some tips from your celebrity fitness advocates in social media today.

By taking a peek into the not so ordinary lives of Bubbles Paraiso, Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Solenn Heussaff and Aubrey Miles, you could get some inspiration and motivationFi, as well as ideas you can apply in your life.

1. Bubbles Paraiso

A well-known yogi, Bubbles also runs and climbs mountains to stay fit. She eats healthy; she flips and swims and do some aerial acts. She is too busy to be lazy. In her not so recent post, she encourages us to live life, to love life. In all ways, always.  Indeed, she is practicing that. #yogaeverydamnday can be your entry point to that #balikalindogprogram you’ve been wanting to try. Light and love, future yoginis; see you on the mat.

2.  Angel Locsin

Darna, Angel’s arguably most popular alter ego, is known for her superpower abilities, such as flying. In real life, the power of climbing mountains is Angel’s strongest asset. If you are following her Instagram posts, she had just conquered her first international mountain in Hong Kong. In the local scene, she had reached six summits in just three weeks. If going to the gym for you is out of the question, then mountain climbing is a good alternative and a fun outdoor activity, too.  Gather your best buds and start climbing, because there is no other way but up.

3.  Anne Curtis

Recently, Anne joined a marathon in New York.  Running 42 kilometers, time-pressured, under wintry weather was not a walk in the park, even for regular runners. So you can imagine how a newbie can conquer this feat. But Anne did it anyway, with a smile painted on her face all throughout the race. How? Simply by working out regularly and making she runs as an integral part of her everyday routine before the day of the event came. Like her, you can devote some of your precious time to sports or other exercise. It may be indoors or outdoors; it’s your choice.  You just run or walk, or do both alternately. The important thing is you just move and  have them regularly. You’ll see results, beautiful results, eventually.

4.  Solenn Heussaff

Fight to stay in shape. Definitely!  Laziness and procrastination will never get you anywhere nearer to your #bodygoals. One of your new year’s resolutions, right? Be an improved version of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  Putting that in mind, you are all set in achieving your version 2.0.

5. Aubrey Miles

Aubrey said it all in just few words: “Looking forward to another year of positive thinking and living a healthy lifestyle. If we have the right mental attitude, nothing can stop us from achieving our fitness goal. Don’t be a seasonal exerciser. Fitness is forever. Find your fitness. Let’s do it. Believe in yourself.”

Be active, positive and never lose hope.  Keep that fire burning. Believe in yourself; know that anything is possible as long as you put your body, mind and soul into it.

These five fit and strong women were not born like this. You may see them toned up with ripped abs, muscles and all now. But dear, they really worked hard to achieve it. They still do. They have stories to back them up, fitness tales to share. But the most important thing is they’ve started, one time or another.

As for you, it’s never too late. Do whatever makes you happy, just move and have them regularly. Run, climb, box, yoga, or work-out; you will never run out of choices.  There maybe obstacles, as lots of pain and discipline are part of every fitness advocate’s life. Just don’t give up.   In the end, you will see results.  Your hard work will pay off.  You will be rewarded, and you know it will all be worth it. The sooner you start, the sooner you will see the new you unfolding right before your eyes.
