Japan is a wonderful country known for its rich culture, heritage sites, and famous tourist attractions. Even though modernization is taking place in the country, the people never forget to practice what their ancestors have started. Japanese are kind and accommodating, their food is unique and delicious, and there are a lot of stunning landscapes around the country. No wonder celebs Celebrities like Angel Locsin, Ellen Adarna, John Lloyd Cruz, Vicky Belo, Hayden Kho, Scarlet Snow Belo, Erich Gonzales, Joshua Garcia, and Julia Barretto have recently visited Japan.

There are a lot of tourist spots to visit in Japan. Mount Fuji is one. It is located on Honshu Island and is considered the highest mountain in the country. It is known as Japan’s three lonely mountains along with Mount Tate and Mount Hake. Heart Evangelista-Escudero visited this mountain already. Another perfect tourist spot in Japan is the Osaka Castle. The castle is one of Japan’s most famous landmark and it symbolizes the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century of the Momoyama Period. People love the Osaka Castle due to the beauty of its stone wall.

Kyoto is also a place travelers shouldn’t miss when traveling in Japan. Kyoto once became the capital city of Japan but was replaced by Tokyo. It is famous for its numerous Buddhist temples, gardens, and imperial places.

Celebrities Who Have Visited Japan Lately

1. Angel Locsin

After confirming the real status of their relationship on Feb 13, it seems that everything is going well between Angel Locsin and boyfriend Neil Arce. The couple is currently in Japan for a vacation. On an Instagram post, Angel uploaded a photo of her and Neil wherein they are enjoying their time together in Kyoto, Japan.

Angel is known to be family oriented. Every time she travels, she always makes sure to tag her family along with her to explore different places not only here in the Philippines but also abroad. Despite her busy schedules, she never forgets to put her family as one of her top priorities. So whenever she gets a short break, she willingly spends it with her loved ones.

Last December, she brought her family to South Korea and they visited the Seoraksan National Park, Tongil Daebul or the “Unification Buddha”, Pyeongchang county, and Nami Island. Now, she once again brought her family with her on her trip to Japan.

2. Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz

Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz together with some friends and family went to Japan for a vacation. People are speculating that the two are having their honeymoon in the country after their rumored wedding in Quezon City on Feb 15. On John Lloyd’s Instagram post, they were seen skiing and snowboarding.

On an Instagram post of Louise Tabaquero, the girlfriend of Ellen’s brother Teodorico Adarna, it was noticeable that Ellen was not with them. Even when they were already skiing, Ellen was not seen either. It could be because she is taking extra care because she’s pregnant and decided to stay behind the camera for this one.

Well, the couple has yet to confirm wedding rumors but as of now, let’s enjoy looking at these two love birds enjoying Japan.

3. Belo-Kho Family

Just a few weeks ago, Scarlet Snow Belo, the daughter of Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, had her first trip in Japan. The Belo-Khos enjoyed shopping, visiting shrines, temples, and the Shinto gates in Kamakura and buying kimonos on their five-day adventure around the Land Of The Rising Sun.

It can be seen in the photos of Scarlet on Instagram that she enjoyed their Japan trip so much. She tried different Japanese food and she also tried doing Samurai with her father Hayden. She was even tagged as the cutest Samurai baby in Japan.

4. Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia

One of the most talented and most famous love teams of this generation, Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, spent their last days of 2017 together in Japan. The chilly winter in Hokkaido brought them closer together as they stayed together to fight the cold weather.

On an Instagram post, Julia uploaded a photo of her with Joshua, whom she held hands with, surrounded by snow at a ski resort in Hokkaido, Japan.

Joshua also posted a seemingly similar photo on his own Instagram page, showing him and Julia hugging while laying down in the snow.

5.Erich Gonzales

The star of ABS-CBN’S newest drama “Blood Sisters,” Erich Gonzales, together with love team Julia Baretto and Joshua Garcia went to Japan to welcome the New Year together.

Erich enjoyed her vacation in Niseko after her hit film “Siargao.” This served as her break after the long taping of her film with Director Paul Soriano.

Erich probably went along with the Barretto family because she is known to be one of the closest friends of the family.
