Love knows no gender and proud couple Ian Angelo a.k.a Angelina and Joey Mead King proves just that. On June 22, the power couple appeared on the debut of their TV show “The Kings” on TLC Asia just in time for Pride Month. The two share their story on live television for the first time. To celebrate with them, we give you the Kings’ best moments after Ian became Angelina.

“The Kings” is a reality TV show which premiered on TLC at 9 p.m. Angelina owns Victoria Court, a popular hotel chain in Manila and is a well known car enthusiast. Joey, on the other hand, is an international TV host and model. They got married in 2011 and five years after in July 2016, Ian made the big reveal that he was now Angelina or Angie.

Having “The Kings” air this month June might be a great finale to the Pride Month celebration. Ever since the couple revealed that Ian was transitioning to become Angelina, the world was shocked but were welcomed and accepted by many. The couple agrees to tell the story of their life after coming out.

According to an interview with the Inquirer, Angelina says the main aim of the show is “to create awareness.”  Joey also mentioned that the hope for the series is to achieve positivity.
