Kathryn Bernardo Turns 21
Kathryn Bernardo celebrated her 21st birthday on ASAP. Everyone’s sweetheart and half of the uber-popular love team Kathniel wowed the audience with a special dance number. Hers was no ordinary dance number, as it involved being hung upside down as well as climbing up poles in the form of a sphere.
Her performance showed a fiercer and more mature Kathryn, something which the audience wildly cheered for. Many people tweeted about her performance as well, making it a top trending topic on Twitter.
The popular love team also graced the ASAP stage. They sang The Cure’s Friday, I’m I Love to the screaming delight of their fans in the audience.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan Champion Noven Belleza Sings Air Supply
Noven Belleza showed off his vocal chops once again, singing the songs of his favorite band, Air Supply. The Tawag Ng Tanghalan champion was joined on stage by champions of other ABS-CBN competitions.
First up were Jovit Baldovino and Frenchie Dy, who sang Making Love Out of Nothing At All. Jed Madela and Angeline Quinto then performed Here I Am, followed by Yeng Constantino and Erik Santos singing Without You. The ASAP champions then introduced Noven, who gave a well-applauded performance of I Can Wait It Forever.
It is also no secret that the singer is a huge fan of the band. On March 12, no less than Air Supply’s Graham Russell congratulated Noven for his “spectacular” performance during the Tawag Ng Tanghalan finals, according to an ABS-CBN report.
