ASAP delivered yet another entertaining episode on March 26. Aside from the regular segments of the show, one of the highlights was the birthday celebration of Kapamilya heartthrob Enrique Gil. Kathryn Bernardo sizzled on stage anew as she performed another dance number.
Not to be missed was the first ever collaboration among ASAP teens, Frankie Pangilinan, Kiana Valenciano and Leila Alcasid. ASAP also dedicated a special segment of April Boy Regino.
Birthday Boy Enrique Gil Performs Mobe, Liza Soberano Shares Her Birthday Wish
Among the highlights of the show was the birthday celebration of Enrique Gil. He performed his song Mobe with ASAP Teen Heartthrobs. Together with the young heartthrobs, Quen showed off his dance moves to the delight of the live audience.
Mobe is fast becoming a dance craze, having been popularized by Quen’s song. Liza Soberano and the ASAP Teen Idols kicked off the Mobe Dance Craze on ASAP last March 6. The song was originally part of the soundtrack of the pair’s latest movie, My Ex and Whys.
After his performance, Liza also came on stage to greet Quen. She shared her birthday wish for Quen which is: “Good health and more blessings.”
The crowd also had their sweet moments fix when the popular love team sang Inigo Pascual’s OPM hit Dahil Sa Iyo. LizQuen thrilled the crowd together with other loveteams, Julia Barreto and Ronnie Alonte and Loisa Andalio and Jameson Blake.
Kathyrn Bernardo Sizzles On Stage Once Again
After her daring dance number on her birthday last March 19, Kathryn Bernardo shared the stage with Teen Idols including Elmo Magalona. Grooving to the beat, she and the teen idols performed in front of the screaming crowd, who could not help but move to the beat as well.
Celebrity Teens Kiana, Leila and Frankie First-Time Collaboration
Celebrity teen daughters of Gary Valenciano, Sharon Cuneta and Ogie Alcasid wowed the audience with their first-time collaboration. Kiana Valenciano, Frankie Cuneta-Pangilinan and Leila Alcasid sang an acoustic version of Roses by the Chainsmokers.
While Frankie and Kiana are seasoned performers, it was Leila’s first time to perform. Her parents Ogie and Michelle van Eimeren were on hand to document their daughter’s first performance.
ASAP Pays Tribute To April Boy Regino
Another major highlight of the show was a special tribute to OPM artist April Boy Regino. Sarah Geronimo, Zsa Zsa Padilla and Erik Santos sang some of Regino’s popular songs, with Regino himself. Regino’s son, JC Regino performed a duet with Sarah Geronimo. Jolina Magdangal and Antonette Taus also did justice to Regino’s song Sabi ng Puso Ko.
