Asia’s Got Talent 2017: PH Talents Continue To Impress, 2 Grand Finalists So Far

Asia’s biggest talent show Asia’s Got Talent continues to bring world-class talent to the stage. The talent show is on its second run on the AXN network. As the show enters its semifinals weeks, Philippine talent continues to shine and impress the judges. Pinoy beatboxer Neil Ray Garcia Llanes is the first Filipino act to join the final showdown. Hip-hop crew DM-X Convaleñoz became a judge’s pick for the grand finals as well.

During the semi-finals round, viewers can vote for their bet to the grand finals. The judges also have their pick on who will advance to the finals.

2 Filipino Grand Finalists: Neil Ray Garcia Llanes And DM-X Convaleñoz

Two of the 5 Philippine acts who made to the semifinals round are already advancing to the grand finals. The first one is Neil Ray Garcia Llanes, a beatboxer from Davao City. According to an ABS-CBN report, David Foster was all praises for his performance. The judge said that Llanes could “win the whole thing.” Llanes also impressed the viewers resulting in him being voted to the final showdown. He joins digital dancer Canion Shijirbat from Mongolia.

The next Filipino talent is the hiphop dance group DM-X Convaleñoz from Compostela Valley. Known for their amazing flips and turns in their performance, their semifinals number was no different. Anggun called their performance “powerful” while Foster said that the group was definitely in showbusiness. The group got Judges Pick and advance to the final showdown.

2 More Filipino Talents Coming

Singer Fitri Cerado was part of the same semifinals show as DM-X Convaleñoz. She sang Angels Brought Me Here, to which Foster said that she deserved to be in Broadway. Results of public voting for that round have yet to be announced.

The final Philippine act is Urban Crew, who will be part of semifinals 3 on Nov. 30. Filipinos can still have a chance for this group next week. Voting can be done via Facebook, Facebook Messenger and Google Search.
