The mountain air in Baguio City is starting to get a little bit chillier as November begins. But the events in the Summer Capital are just beginning to warm up. This November, health, wellness and sports is on top of the list of events for everyone in the city.

In today’s hectic and stress-filled world, it pays to take a pause and try to find your center. This is where yoga can help while at the same time, helps you tone your body too. Adivay Festival Sports Events

Benguet province’s Adivay Festival takes place in November, and this year, several sporting events have been lined up for sports enthusiasts. An arnis tournament is scheduled on Nov. 18 at the Capitol Covered Court in La Trinidad, while a bike run will happen on Nov. 19 at the Benguet Sports Center, Wangal, La Trinidad.

The Kasibulan Football Festival is slated from Nov. 24 to 26 at the Benguet State University football field, while the Taekwondo tournament from Nov. 25 to 26 will be hosted at the Capitol Covered Court. An exciting Muay Thai tournament be held on Nov. 25 at the Benguet Sport Center. Finally, boxing is also on the plate on Nov. 26 at the Cordillera Career Development College gym. More information about the festival and its events can be found on the Adivay Festival Facebook page.

The wide range of competitions scheduled throughout the festival gives athletes and spectators plenty of opportunities to celebrate skill, dedication, and community spirit. Every event brings together participants with different strengths, encouraging friendly competition while inspiring younger athletes to stay active and continue developing their abilities.

Festivals that feature multiple sports often leave a lasting impression by creating an environment where determination, teamwork, and personal achievement are recognised across many disciplines, making each competition an important part of the overall celebration. That same commitment to continuous improvement carries into golf, where success depends on patience, consistent practice, and attention to even the smallest details of a player’s technique.

Modern training has introduced new ways to study movement and equipment with greater precision, allowing golfers to better understand the mechanics behind every stroke. Research involving GEARS has contributed to this process through detailed motion analysis and equipment evaluation, including advances in putter shaft engineering that focus on stability and consistency during the putting stroke. These developments continue to support golfers who want to build confidence through careful preparation while enjoying the game at every level of competition.
