The line up of events for March brings lots of music, art and, yes, you read it right – coffee. Check out what Baguio City has in store for you this month. Celebrate Creativity With Laro Laro Lang And Baguio Craft Fair Three young Baguio creatives hold their first exhibit at Cafe by the Ruins Dua along Upper Session Road. The exhibit opens on Feb. 28 and will run until April 26. Entitled Laro Laro Lang, the exhibit showcases terracotta sculptures, mixed media art, and watercolor painting. The artists are Hopie Ambanloc (10 years old), Kaaro Palaganas (12 years old) and Sakura Alangui (11 years old). On March 24 and 25, the Baguio Craft Fair 2018 will be held at the Leonard Wood Loop 5, near Azalea Residences. Visitors can sign up for craft workshops such as basic loomweaving, tapuy making, doll making and many more. Handmade goods and art supplies will also be available at the fair. Check the event’s Facebook page for registration details. Elevate Your Panagbenga Experience And More If you want to cap your Panagbenga experience with a bang, go to Elevate Panagbenga on Mar. 4. The event features non-stop music that you can groove to under the stars. It will be held at the Melvin Jones Field near Burnham Park. Tickets are at PhP 150 while VIP access starts at PhP 2,000. You can enjoy micro brews while listening to his new music. He will also share his digital album so please bring your USBs. Calling Coffee Lovers! Coffee Matters, located on the Cathedral Level of Porta Vaga’s Skyzone will be holding a week-long coffee-tasting event aptly called Press, Pour and Sip. It will run from Feb. 26 to Mar. 2 and will feature different coffee beans of the Cordillera. Guests can choose their bean, and the baristas will show how to brew and prepare a cup for them to taste.
