The Bell House is well known more for what it stands for rather than the structure. It was named after General J.Franklin Bell, a general who was sent to the Philippines during the Philippine-American War. The house served as an instrument transforming Camp John Hay not into just a tourist spot but into a major military resort.

The Bell House stands now as a modern museum of old architecture and lifestyle.

Although visitations here are very rampant-it’s also free. For travelers who are photo enthusiasts, you are oriented not to use flash photography inside the building for reasons of “disturbance of the non-living.”

Historical pictures are also displayed in the exhibit room inside the building itself.
