She says that everything is about time management and scheduling. It is a fact that the Binibining Pilipinas pageants usher in acting career opportunities for winning Filipina beauties. True enough, it didn’t take too long for showbiz to come knocking on Mariel’s door. In an interview with ABSCBN, she said that her role as the leading lady of Coco Martin in “Ang Panday” is a big opportunity so she said yes to the project. She feels “so lucky and blessed” by this and is pretty serious about studying her character more. Mariel intends to ask her parents, Filipino actors Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong, for advice in terms of acting. Bb. Pilipinas-International Mariel de Leon is officially part of MMFF 2017 through ‘Ang Panday’ The film “Ang Panday” is set to be released on December. It is Mariel’s entry into the film industry and showbusiness itself. In relation to that, Coco Martin will direct the movie under his company, CCM Creative Productions. This marks his debut as a director. The Philippine Star reveals that Mariel’s parents (veteran actors Christopher and Sandy) and the Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) Head Madame Stella Marquez-Araneta has given the nod for Mariel to sign up for this project. The only condition is that CCM Productions should coordinate with BPCI as to Mariel’s schedule as she is the reigning Bb. Pilipinas-International 2017. Miss International Beauty Pageant 2017 will be held in Tokyo, Japan on November 14. Bb Pilipinas-International 2017 Mariel de Leon is undoubtedly giving her best in the preparations for the upcoming 57th Miss International Beauty Pageant. Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa will be passing on the crown to her successor. It will be held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall where 70 delegates from all over the world will come together to celebrate beauty and elegance. The delegates will be arriving in Japan by October 2017.
