The couple was always very private about their relationship. But on May 8, during the press conference for their upcoming movie “Kasal,” Bea finally tells the real deal on whether or not they’re still together. Bea’s answer, “Hindi sa ngayon.” Bea and Gerald were once together in 2010 for a few months. Reports say Gerald’s mother did not approve and so they had to end it. In July 2016, BeaRald reunited for the movie, “How To Be Yours.” The two have been spending much time after that. It wasn’t until October 2016 when they finally admitted that they were dating again. In December of the same year, Bea’s family gave the thumbs up to Gerald. Fans wondered if they were officially a couple. In October 2017 during the Star Magic Ball, Gerald accidentally admitted that they were already together. In March this year, Bea made headlines when she unfollowed Gerald on Instagram. Gerald was then promoting his movie with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, “My Perfect You.” She also deleted all of her photos with Gerald as well. This sparked rumors that the two have indeed broken up. Fans thought it was just a stunt to promote her upcoming movie. Bea Alonzo Breakup With Gerald Anderson, During a press conference on May 8, MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN asked Bea if she and Gerald were still together. Bea admitted, “Hindi sa ngayon.” When asked to clarify if she was single, she says,”Technically. But of course, we’re talking. We’re okay.” On ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay Tuesday episode, fans were still able to catch a glimpse of BeaRald “together.” In the episode, Bea received a handwritten letter from Gerald who called her his teenage crush. The episode was a canned episode meaning it wasn’t clear if this happened before or after their breakup. In the same report, it was confirmed that their breakup was caused by a misunderstanding clearing the name of Pia Wurtzbach in the process. The two were able to set their differences aside.
