20-year-old actress Bea Binene clarifies that the flowers she’s been posting are not from fellow actor Alden Richards. For months, she’s been posting on her Instagram pictures of roses she’s received. A lot of fans speculate that they are from Alden after they’ve been linked a few months ago.
Alden Richards is one half of the phenomenal and viral loveteam, AlDub, alongside Maine Mendoza. But Alden isn’t the only half being linked to other people. Maine has also had her fair share of rumors when she was linked to her “Destined To Be Yours” co-star Juancho Trivino. Bea Binene, on the other hand, was paired up with Jake Vargas more than once.
Bea Binene fires back on the hate
Bea took to Instagram to set the real score between her and the Pambansang Bae. She started by saying that things were getting out of hand, which made her speak up. “First, it saddens me that there are people who act, think, and tell people something like that. Nakakalungkot dahil may mga oras sila mag-sabi at mag-isip ng kung ano ano sa iba, na dapat ay ginagamit nila ang oras na yun to do something good and productive,” she continued.
She then went on about how she and Alden are just friends, nothing more. “I hope you all understand and just be happy because we are friends. Mahirap humanap ng totoong kaibigan sa industriya and I am extremely grateful to have a few real friends na tried and tested, hindi man madami, pero totoo.”
She finally mentioned Alden’s name to set things straight that he is not the person behind the flowers. She also touched on how fans can be possessive of their idols. “Wala pong kinalaman si Alden sa mga bulaklak. Wag nyo naman po sana bigyan ng ibang meaning ang mga posts. I actually understand that you are possessive with your idols but please, wag nyo naman pangunahan and bigyan ng kung anu-anong meaning na wala naman talaga. And humahanga ako sa suporta nyo.“
She ended her lengthy Instagram post on a positive note. “And I hope we just stay positive and be happy for everyone. Use your time to love your family and love one another, not to bash people who get close to your idols. If it is meant to be, it will be. 😉 No hate, just love. God bless you all“
Friend and fellow actor Kristoffer Martin also reacted in support of his friend. He retweeted one of Bea’s tweets addressing the problem, but the original tweet has been deleted. “People tend to be insensitive these days. Mas pinapaniwalaan yung gustong makita kesa sa TOTOO,” the actor captioned his retweet.
