If you are like most people, your mobile device is the best way to achieve the convenience you want. Of course, smartphones wouldn’t be what it is right now without mobile applications. It is projected that there will be nearly 269 billion app downloads in 2017.  Mobile applications or apps are a type of application software shaped to run on a mobile device. But not every tool out there is actually worth downloading and learning to use. Who would want to waste their time on something that isn’t effective at all?

1. StudyBlue

StudyBlue is a mobile application which allows students to review class study materials. This is by creating or borrowing electronic flashcards and answering practice quizzes. Students can also input hints and answers using text, recorded audio or photograph. There are three main study modes: Flip Cards, Take Quiz, and Review Sheet. Users can choose the number of cards or questions, the order and submission type.

2. StudyDroid

It may be the simplest flashcard app to download. This app allows students to add flashcards and sync them for easy reviewing of lessons. It is user-friendly and customizable as the details on how to move through the app were indicated. To flip a card over, tap it. To move to the next card, swipe. The new version also allows users to add colors to cards and adjust text size.

3. Quizlet

This may be is the most modern and updated flashcard application up in the apple store and playstore. Quizlet allows users to make or find flashcards that other Quizlet users have made and shared. Quizlet offers three modes of studying: Flashcard, Learn, and Match. In Flashcard mode, users go through the flashcards one by one and flip the cards so that the answers show. In Learn mode, the question is shown and the user is to type his/her answer. The Match mode makes studying fun and challenging by using a timer. In this mode, the flashcards are laid out. The user then will tap the pairs of hint and answer cards which belong together.

Organizing

1. Evernote

Evernote is designed to organize your work and declutter your life. It allows users to take and type notes, organize tasks and make tasks lists as well as archiving. The best thing about this app is that users can store music, pictures, text, screenshots, spreadsheets, and links. It also syncs your created wish list and travel documents.

2. reQall

reQall is a to-do list manager. It allows users to type or speak reminders into their mobile devices. It also features easy organizing of notes, and can also link to related items in Evernote. One of the best features this app has is that it sends you reminders. To set reminders, record what you want to be reminded of — say “Bring an umbrella”. reQall then will upload your audio to its servers. Then, it converts the message to text and analyzes what you’ve said. It will categorize your message into time-sensitive tasks, things, people, and places. Once added to your to-do list, the reQall service will send messages via e-mail or SMS.

3. Wunderlist

Wunderlist makes planning and managing of tasks easier. It allows users to create a plan and share it with other people. What’s good about this app is that users can make multiple lists in the easiest way. Like reQall, Wunderlist also reminds the user with dues and deadlines he/she has set.

1. Mint: Budget, Bills, Finance

Mint is an all-in-one application allowing users to create their budget. They can also and track their spending using this app.  Basically, to be smart about money. The best thing about this app is that users can connect their bank accounts through online. Mint also reminds its users when to pay pills as well as record debts and lending. It also gives advice on how to control money spending and tips on proper budgetary.

2. Wally

If you want to know where your money is going, you may want to check out Wally. This user-friendly app allows you to keep track of your spending. It allows users to track their income and expenses, set a savings target and scan receipts.

3. Clev Money-Personal Finance

Another personal favorite is Clev Money. This app allows its users to input every single expense they had. It helps users determine their monthly income and spending. They can also categorize every spending that they input. A pie chart lets you know the percentage of every category that you input. It also includes budgeting feature which is a great help if you’re on a tight budget.

This app claims to have all the features you need to be a straight “A” student. It is designed to remind students of their homework so they don’t cram beating the deadline. Each task a user sets allow him/her to set a due date, reminder date, notes, and more. This app allows users to add, view, and complete assignments. Users can also color code each subject and get a quick glance of assignments in a dashboard. They can also view your Calendar in a few different modes (yearly, monthly, or daily).

Math is cool. And it became even cooler with this app which is made especially to aid in solving math problems. This app answers mathematical equations and operations easy-peasy.  Users will just have to point their camera toward a math problem. Photomath will magically show the result with detailed step-by-step instructions.
