BigBang Updates: T.O.P’s First Hearing, Fantastic Baby Hits 300M Views, And Taeyang On Magazine Cover

Korean Pop group BigBang continue to make waves on social media. They’ve recently hit 300M views on the music video of Fantastic Baby. Meanwhile, two of BigBang’s members are also making the headlines. Choi Seung -hyun popularly known as T.O.P is set to appear at his first trial on June 29 for his recent marijuana case. Taeyang, on the other hand, posed for the cover of Singapore’s The New York Times Style Magazine.

BigBang is a South Korean Band that debuted in August 2006 with G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri as its members. T.O.P has recently taken much attention for his recent case of marijuana use and suspension from military service. Days after, he was in critical condition due to a drug overdose but showed improvement and is now in psychiatric treatment.

A report by All Kpop confirms the scheduled hearing of T.O.P for his marijuana case. The report confirms his attendance since he submitted his acceptance for attending on June 27. In the said hearing, Choi Seung -hyun may or may not make his official confession. Prosecutors will explain the accusations and lawyers will make a statement. The hearing is set to take place at 11:30 a.m. on June 29.

Meanwhile, Taeyang is making a name for himself posing for Singapore’s fashion magazine, The New York Times Style Magazine. The Kpop star went for an extreme closeup shot in black and white for the cover. According to another report by All KPop, Taeyang is the official honorary ambassador for the 2018 Winter Pyeongchang Olympics.

While each member of the popular KPop group are doing their own thing, BigBang’s music video from 2012 “Fantastic Baby” has recently hit 300M views on YouTube and has had over 1M likes over the years. Watch the video below.
