Binibining Pilipinas 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is the 3rd Filipina who won the title after 42 years. was possibly the biggest name in the year 2015 to 2016 because of the controversial coronation of Miss Universe 2015. If you could remember, host Steve Harvey announced the wrong name before Pia was finally declared as the winner. No one will ever forget that. After winning Miss Universe 2015, Pia then proceded to pursue her advocacy on Youth HIV and AIDS awareness which she continues to do up to now. Today, Pia Wurtzbach is a successful product endorser, actress, and model known not just in the Philippines but also internationally. View this post on Instagram The Senate has only a few days left to finish the debate and vote on the SOGIE Equality bill, which I support because it promotes love and equality for LGBTQs. There is a misconception that the bill goes against our religious beliefs, our religious freedom, but that is far from the truth. I’ve always seen our faith as an instrument to embrace our fundamental equality, before God and before our laws, and not as a license to discriminate. And if we pass this, nothing will be taken away from us; we will only have love, respect and understanding to give. It’s time to pass the SOGIE Equality Bill. #loveisallweneed 🏳️🌈 A post shared by Pia Wurtzbach (@piawurtzbach) on Aug 12, 2018 at 7:14pm PDT 3.
