Social media is going crazy talking about the black moon which is set to appear on September 30. And yes, you guessed it right, reports say these are signs of the end times or even good luck for many. Take a look at the article that’s going viral!

Viral News Says,

The “Ring of Fire” solar eclipse that happened on September 1, where the moon lines up with the earth and the sun above Africa followed by a black moon only weeks after, is a sign of the end times.

Popcorn says,

End of times and good luck, a hoax! Black moon however, Popcorn says true!

For starters, there is going to be a black moon and report says it will occur at 8:11 p.m. Eastern Time (5:11 p.m. Pacific Time). This September 30 black moon though is exclusive to the western hemisphere only. The eastern hemisphere will have to wait till October 30 to have their black moon science says, when they experience the same new moon on October 1.

For everyone to know, a black moon is actually a second new moon in a single month. (How about that?) A new moon, if you might ask, refers to a moment when the moon’s earth-facing side is fully in shadow. (So technically, it may be invisible, darn.)

That’s basically it. The reason why it is such a controversial black moon is just because of the timing of it all, and the fact that everything will be pitch black, which makes it scary and would work to the advantage of some rituals for some beliefs and religions. Plus, black moon on a Friday, freaky Friday!

Take a look at some of the Twitter posts about the coming black moon

So there you have it! Hoax or not, black moon will give us a different view of the sky on those days!
