On November 20, Sarah and Boyce avenue posted an acoustic cover of Maroon 5’s “Don’t Wanna Know.” It has earned over a million views and around 50,000 likes on YouTube.
Adam Levine wasn’t on his “The Voice” seat but made a comment on Facebook recently saying, “When a cover is done right.” It seems as though Sarah is so comfortable in these videos. What’s up with Sarah singing? Has she in fact done this before?
Modern Family Star Sarah Hyland Sings And Plays Guitar
Sarah Hyland or popularly known as Haley Dunphy in the hit TV series Modern family showed off some of her singing skills on Instagram in 2015. In the video she sings to the tune of “Wonderwall” by Oasis. Not just that, she tried to sing it while playing the guitar after just an hour of practicing or maybe learning. Could this be a budding music career for Sarah Hyland?
This isn’t the first time Sarah has appeared in the music scene on stage. In 2014, Sarah and Kristen Bell performed in the Holywood Bowl production of the musical “Hair.” Way back in 1999, Sarah starred as “Molly” in the TV movie version of Annie.

On Sarah Hyland’s Instagram, she posted a photo of a fan art featuring her and the Boyce Avenue. In her caption she revealed that the collaboration was Boyce Avenue’s idea. She said she has been dreaming of its since she was 19. On Twitter she posted the viral video and said, “Dream come true singing with these guys.” Boyce Avenue also tweeted the video and said “Loved working on this cover of “Closer” with our friend Sara Hyland.”
Earlier this year, Sarah was on ET. ET asked if she would realease her own music soon. Sarah said, “That’s a hard question for me to answer, My boyfriend got me a guitar, because he’s like, ‘I love your music and you should be able to write and compose your own music, I thought that was really sweet, but I don’t know, Maybe if I start getting bored? I’m not ruling it out!”
