BTS to guest on The Ellen Show, Executive Director confirms
There have been rumors stating that BTS will be on The Ellen Show. A report by AllKpop says that on Thursday, Nov 3, BTS’ agency Big Hit Entertainment released a statement addressing the issue.
The statement read, “BTS have been offered to appear on multiple overseas programs and ‘The Ellen Show’ is one of them. Nothing has yet been confirmed.”
On Nov 2, Andy Lassner, the executive producer of The Ellen Show gave a hint that it could actually happen. Rap Monster Phil posted a tweet showing a photo of 103.7 Kiss FM tagging Andy saying the LA Kings would be happy to have BTS on the show. Andy then replied to the tweet asking Kyle Clifford of the LA Kings if it was true. Kyle answered, “Give the kids what they want Andy.” That’s when Andy said, “Well, @13KCliffy has spoken.”
Rap Monster Phil. on Twitter then posted the series of tweets captioned, “Ellen DeGeneres’ producer said something interesting about inviting BTS to the show. What does ARMY think of this?” Andy replied to the tweet saying, “It’s gonna happen.”
There are no confirmations as to when BTS will actually guest on The Ellen Show but with the executive producer saying “It’s gonna happen” is good enough for fans.
