Twitterverse Celebrates BTS Jin’s Birthday, #WorldwideHandsomeDay Trending

BTS member Jin turns 25 (26 in Korean age) on Dec 4. Fans on Twitter celebrate with the hashtag #worldwideHandsomeDay which went top trending worldwide. Jin was born in 1992.

BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy taking over social media by storm. They are truly living up to the reputation of being the Top Social Artist, a title they won at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. They are also part of TIME’s Most Influential People in 2017. Recently, the group traveled to the US and have appeared in shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Late Late show with James Corden, and the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Jin’s Birthday, BTS celebrates with a cake

Jin is the eldest member of BTS. The K-Pop group celebrated his birthday with a cake. In a video posted by J-Hope, BTS members could be seen giving Jin a cheesecake with lighted candles. Jin saw one of the candles and jokingly said that it kind of looked like his curved finger. Watch the video below.

BTS’ official also shared a collage of Jin’s picture with a card in the middle that says, “Happy Birthday Jin.” The post was captioned, “1204 Happy Birthday World Wide Handsome Jin.”

Meanwhile, the hashtag #worldWideHandsomeDay went number one trending worldwide before Dec 4 midnight getting over a million tweets. Worldwide handsome is how Jin calls himself since he went trending during the Billboard Music Awards in May because of his good looks.

Fans on Twitter share birthday messages for BTS member Jin. One tweet, in particular, got thousands of retweets and likes. The post shows a radio station in the US playing Jin’s solo hit, “Awake.” The DJ on board says Jin’s solo from the album “Wings” hasn’t been heard on the radio before and since it was his birthday, they made an exception.
