BTS Fans React To ‘Love Yourself: Her’ Comeback And New Music Video ‘DNA’

BTS launched their latest comeback yesterday with the mini-album ‘Love Yourself: Her.’ The music video for lead song ‘DNA’ released on YouTube at the same time. In just 10 hours, the mega-popular K-pop group reached over 13 million views on ‘DNA’, beating the previous record. And in just 24 hours, those views hit over 19 million, showing the true power of BTS and their A.R.M.Y.

BTS Beats Record For Most Views In 24 Hours

Currently, the music video for ‘DNA’ boasts over 19 million views on YouTube. That smashes the previous record-holder, Black Pink’s ‘As If It’s Your Last,’ which had 13,316,290 views in just 24 hours. And that’s not the only record BTS obliterated in the 24 hours since their comeback. The K-Pop group also claimed the #1 spot in over 72 countries, either through ‘DNA’ or ‘Love Yourself: Her.’

According to Rap Monster, ‘Love Yourself: Her’ highlights the importance of self-love. He explained in a Seoul press conference that “learning to love ourselves can be the answer to many of things in life.” The mini-album features 9 tracks and 2 hidden tracks available only through the physical album.

Fan Reactions To DNA On Twitter

PH Army rallied together to drive up views on the ‘DNA’ music video. They even celebrated on Twitter by trending #BTS_DNA_TODAY. Many tweets recorded the fans’ progress and BTS breaking records by topping international music charts. Others also took the time to praise the ‘DNA’ music video for highlighting the talents of the members. Some fans also gave a shout-out to BTS for uniting A.R.M.Y. and creating a truly global fanbase.
