In usual BTS fashion, the Korean boy band once again got their fans excited when they shared the concept for the group’s new era, Love Yourself. The band shared a photo that looks like a movie poster showing Jungkook in pajamas, sitting on a wheel chair and holding a small flower bouquet.
According to ET Canada, Twitter was on fire with the hashtag Love Yourself only 30 minutes after the poster was shared on the band’s social media platforms. The band’s return with new music has been highly anticipated by fans, especially BTS A.R.M.Y.
BTS Tells Fans To “Love Yourself “
This is not the first time the band used the phrase Love Yourself. According to Billboard, BTS’s Rap Monster used the exact phrase during their acceptance speech at the Billboard Music Awards. When the group went on stage to receive their award for the Top Social Artist of the year, Rap Monster said, “Please, ARMY, remember what we say: love myself, love yourself.”
The band also promised to give more clues in the coming weeks so their fans should be on the lookout, as they always are. According to the report, the band continues to work with a specific theme every time they come up with new music. Their previous albums for example had themes like School, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life and WINGS.
Love Yourself marks the start of a new era for the band. According to record label Bighit Entertainment, they are “taking an innovative approach to the Love Yourself era.” The format of the next album is yet to be revealed, but the group is expected to drop new music in September. Releases will continue until the end of 2017 and go on until the next year, 2018.
