Ryan Cayabyab

Filipino musician, composer, and conductor Ryan Cayabyab was born on May 4 in 1954. This year, he will be blowing his 64th candle. Ryan is known for being the Executive and Artistic Director of the San Miguel Foundation for the Performing Arts. Throughout his career, he’s performed for several world leaders including King Juan Carlos I of Spain and Bill Clinton.

Jake Zyrus

Jake Zyrus, formerly known as Charice Pempengco, was born May 10 in 1992 in Cabuyao City, Laguna. She’s a Filipina pop, R&B, and rock singer who became an internet sensation after the video of her performance in a talent show went viral on YouTube. In 2010, in a TV guesting to Oprah Winfrey show, she was hailed as the “Most Talented Girl in the World” by none other than Oprah herself. She popularized the songs ‘Pyramid,’ ‘Louder,’ and ‘Before it explodes.’

Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo is a Filipino film and television actress, host, product endorser, recording artist, and film producer. She will be celebrating her 40th birthday this year, May 11. She’s known from the Filipino television soap opera on ABS-CBN, Maria Clara in 1992 up to 1997 and movies “Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay” with Rico Yan in 1998, “Sabel” in 2004, “Ploning” in 2008, and “And Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” early this year.

Dennis Trillo

Kapuso star and “The One That Got Away” leading man Dennis Trillo was born May 12, 1981. He is popular for starring in the movies “Aishite Imasu 1941: Mahal Kita” with Iya Villania and Judy Ann Santos and “I.T.A.L.Y.” with Rhian Ramos and Aljur Abrenica. In 2017, he celebrated his birthday with an intimate party with his family and loved ones.

Paulo Avelino

Kapamilya and ‘Asintado’ star Paulo Avelino will be celebrating his 30th birthday on May 13. His career bloomed after he played the role of Nathan Montenegro on ABS-CBN’s “Walang Hanggan.” He was born in Baguio City. Jennylyn Mercado

Born Jennylyn Anne Pineda Mercado, she will be celebrating her 31st birthday this year, May 15. She is a  Filipino actress, singer, and songwriter. She was the winner of the first season of the reality talent competition StarStruck. She celebrated her 30th birthday with a luau or Hawaiian-themed party over the weekend.

Shamcey Supsup

2011 Miss Universe third runner-up Shamcey Supsup was born May 16, 1986. Aside from being a beauty contest title holder, she is also a TV Host, model, and architect. She studied architecture at the University of the Philippines in Diliman and became a board topnotcher in 2010 Architect Licensure Examination.

Kris Bernal

Also among our May birthday celebrants is Kapuso leading lady Kris Bernal whose birthday is on May 17. She’s turning 29 years old. She’s popular starring in the movies ‘Nandito Ako Nagmamahal Sa’Yo,’ ‘Mag-ingat Ka Sa Kulam,’ ‘Ang Panday 2,’ ‘Loving You,’ and Alyas Ben Tumbling. He is known for his movies “Babe, I love you” with actress Anne Curtis in 2010 and “You are the one” with Toni Gonzaga in 2006. He also made popular the songs “Hindi kita iiwan,” “My Girl,” “Magmahal Muli,” and “I’ve fallen in love.”

Zsa Zsa Padilla

ABS-CBN contract actress and singer Zsa Zsa Padilla was born May 28, 1964. She is the mother of showtime host and actress Karylle. She’s considered one of the best music and OPM personalities in the country having popularized the songs “Mambobola,” “Mahal kita, Walang iba,” “Hiram,” “Ikaw lamang,” “Minsan pa,’” and many more.
