It’s hard to imagine that some of our favourite international celebrities have actually visited the Philippines. Just recently, some Filipinos thought Cameron Diaz was in Palawan. It turns out, it was just some other tourist. Nevertheless, celebrities like Zachary Levi, Owen Wilson, Margot Robbie, Steven Seagal, and Drew Barrymore did actually visit the country and contributed a lot to Philippine tourism. So, here are five of some of your favourite celebs who vacationed in the islands of the Philippines.
5 Celebrities who Visited the Philippines
1. Zachary Levi
American actor and singer Zachary Levi is famous for his latest movie, “Shazam!” The actor visited the Philippines in August 2017, posting photos on his Instagram about his experiences. One of the highlights of his trip was when he ate Balut, a Pinoy delicacy in Cauayan, Isabela. It seems that Zachary wanted to experience the country the way locals did. Indeed, one can’t leave the Philippines without at least trying balut.
2. Owen Wilson
Zoolander star Owen Wilson paid a visit to the Philippines in March 2016. The actor was just there to enjoy himself and to get away from the spotlight for a while. 3. Margot Robbie
The famous Harley Quinn did indeed visit the Philippines in 2016. Australian actress Margot Robbie did not only come for a vacation but also for an outreach program in Cebu.
