A netizen on Twitter gave a reaction to Manny Pacquiao and Jessie Vargas’ fight that a lot of people seem to like. It was posted on November 6 and has had almost 11,000 likes and over 5,000 retweets. The tweet that netizen Jobe Nkemakolam posted said, “Congratulations Vargas you are lucky enough to punch a Filipino Politician legally.

Take a look at how other users reacted to this tweet. Some wished it was Senator Leila Delima who was in the ring with Vargas. Other say the netizen had a point and stressed the fact that he wasn’t any politician but a “Senator” to be exact.

Most of these posts were very entertaining considering Mommy Dionisia’s effort to be included in the scene during Pacquiao’s interview after the win. Chief Ronald Dela Rosa, Mommy D and netizen’s Twitter posts weren’t the only one grabbing attention on social media. Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach watched the fight live at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Miss Universe played prophet and predicted the win of Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao won over Jessie Vargas and claimed the WBO welterwight title by a unanimous decision. The judges score 114-113, 118-109 and 118-109 in favor of Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao told BBC, “I feel I could have done more but every round I tried to knock him out.”
