The update was supposed to be released in September, which makes COC gamers now more expectant for the update. “Clash of Clans” is a ‘freemium’ massive multi player online mobile strategy video game developed by Supercell. In 2013, COC was the third highest game in revenue generated on the App Store, and number one on Google Play. In 2015, it was the top grossing app both on the App store and Google Play. The objective, to build a community, train troops and attack other players to earn gold, elixir and dark elixir. Clash of Clans October 2016 update release date In the COC forum, one of the most active member of the Supercell team answered the query of fans who asked if the update will indeed be released in October (October 11 to be exact). The Supercell staff said, “Not today, in the next couple of days.” Gamers were expecting it to be out on October 14. Good news came early for Andoid users, since the update was rolled out for them on October 13. iOS users on the other hand are still on the wait. New Version of Clash of Clans, New Bomb Tower and more According to the Clash of Clans official website’s blog, new update features the new bomb tower. The tower will not just be a structure but it now is the newest defense structure. It creates more room for balancing mass-attack troops and will explode and kill enemies in a small radius when attacked. The blog also says updates also include new troop levels, new defense levels, 25 more wall pieces to Town Hall 11, re-balancing including Witch and Skeleton Spell buffs, revisited rules on Clan wars lot and Clan XP, and continued balancing changes to Clan Wars matchmaking. Reports have said Supercell will put in an augmented reality feature in COC, however reports confrim that it remains only a possibility as of now, but focuses more on the updates announced on their website.
