Juliana Gomez and Claudia Barretto Achieve Academic Awards

Celebrity couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez, and actress Marjorie Barretto prove that it is indeed possible to balance career and family and excel in both. Their daughters, Juliana Gomez and Claudia Barretto received hard-earned academic awards at the Everest Academy Manila on May 30. Work-family life balance is not an easy job. Much more when you’re a celebrity. Balancing time between hectic work schedule and being a full-time parent to watch over soon-to-be children’s growth is definitely a challenging game.

Juliana and Claudia are close friends. Lucy Torres recently shared a photo of both of them during their prom in February. These ladies are slowly making a name for themselves. Juliana recently appeared in some advertisements while Claudia Barretto debuted her first single, “Stay.”

Actress and single mom Marjorie Barretto expressed on her Instagram account that she is truly proud of her children.

Posting elegantly with her beautiful daughter Claudia wearing a silver academic medal award, she posted the photo on her account with a heartwarming caption. It goes: “Just as I was starting to feel that single parenting my grown up children was getting more and more challenging every day, I found myself lately praying extra harder for strength and wisdom as a mother. Today, my daughter Claudia gives me another academic award, and I suddenly feel recharged. I feel strong again. I feel I’m not doing so bad after all, and I am reminded that the rewards are greater than the trials I face in raising them. Thank you Claudia. Your hard work and anxiety paid off, and you just made me the happiest Mommy today. I love you.”

Claudia Barretto is the younger sister of teen star Julia Barretto and the daughter of actor Dennis Padilla.

Meanwhile, Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez proudly posted an Instagram video. It showed him and wife Lucy Torres-Gomez’s daughter, Juliana Gomez.  Juliana is also ending the academic year with flying colors. As a proud father, he claimed that she has taken after her mommy and of course, Richard himself.

Juliana Gomez is the 16-year-old daughter of Richard and Lucy who went viral on social media last February for her stunning look during their school prom. While she remains a full-time student, she has made appearances in some print ads and magazines.

It is indeed a proud moment for all parents to be rewarded by their children with such an achievement. Not to mention these two young ladies both have the beauty and the wit. Thanks to their celebrity parents who never loose track in good parenting despite their busy careers.
