Cogie Domingo

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested actor Cogie Domingo and his wife Ria Sacasas during an anti-drug operation on Friday. Report says Cogie was allegedly spotted buying illegal drugs in Parañaque City. He is currently at Camp Vicente Lim in Calamba Laguna.

Cogie Domingo is a Filipino actor and model. A wiki profile says he joined ABS-CBN’s Cyberkada at the age of 13. He appeared in movies like “Sa Piling ng Mga Aswang,” and Yakapin Mo Ang Umaga.” His big break was when he played a juvenile prisoner on “Deathrow” in 2000. Cogie was also in “Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin,” “Kung Mawawala Ka,” and “Bakekang” wih Lovi Poe. He started as a Kapamilya actor, transferred to GMA in 1996, moved back to ABS-CBN and then to TV5. In 2015, he became a cast of GMA’s “Buena Familia.” In 2016, he appeared in ABS-CBN’s “Ipaglaban Mo.”

The 32-year-old actor was linked to celebs like Anne Curtis, Angel Locsin and Lovi Poe. He was once linked to Chavit Singson’s partner in 2009. This sparked much controversy then. Cogie was in a relationship with Kristal Hancock in 2012. He and Kristal have a daughter. In March 2016, Cogie married Ria Sacasas in an intimate ceremony with family and close friends. Profile says Cogie is based in the US with wife Ria Sacasas.

Cogie Domingo arrested in anti-drug operation

A report by PEP says Cogie Domingo and wife Ria Sacasas were both arrested during the anti-drug operation. PDEA agents from Region 4-A says illegal drugs were recovered from the actor although the quantity and type remain to be unknown.

Report further says Cogie was caught in the act of buying shabu at a buy-bust operation in Parañaque City. No further details were released because according to Chief PDEA Public Information Officer Derrick Carreon, there are follow-up operations still underway.
