Coldplay Confirms 2017 Concert In The Philippines

Fans get ready! Coldplay finally confirms their concert in the Philippines on April 4, 2017. A two-second clip was posted by the band on their social media accounts on November 14. The clip showed an outline of Asian Countries, the Philippines included. This teaser has had over 25,000 likes and aeound 14,000 retweets in a matter of hours.

Coldplay is a brit-rock band with only four members which started in 1996. They achieved worldwide fame when they releases the single “Yellow” in 2000. Since then, Colplay has won eight Brit Awards winning Best British Group four times. They also won five MTV Video music awards, three World Music Awards, seven Grammy Awards and four Billboard Music Awards. The band has sold over 80 million records worldwide.

Hit songs from the band include “Yellow,” “Fix You,” “Sky Full of Stars,” “Viva La Vida,” “The Scientist,” “Princess of China,” with Rihanna and “Hymn for the Weekend” with Beyonce.

Rumors of Coldplay in the Philippines were being talked about earlier this year. It was said that the concert would be this November. There was no confirmation from any prodution group that it would push thru.

Coldplay now has announced their “A Head Full Of Dreams” Asian tour on their website. On November 15, the band themselves confirmed their Philippine appearance through their social media posts on Facebook and Twitter. The band’s social media posts say it all. They are due to do concerts in Singapore on April 1, Philippines on April 4, Korea on April 15, Taiwan on April 12 and Japan on April 19 next year.

The band will be performing at the MOA Concert grounds on April 4, 2017 and fans just couldn’t wait.

Coldplay’s visit to the Philippines will be the first ever in history. The band has visited Japan and Singapore once before.

Coldplay Ticket Price In The Philippines

Tickets for the upcoming concerts will be available on November 24 for Korea, Taiwan and the Philippines. Singapore and Tokyo will be able to grab their tickets on November 21. Prices for tickets in the Philippines are as follows:VIP- P22,500, Platinum-17,500, Gold-12,500, Silver-7,500, Bronze-3,500 and GenAd-1,800.
