British band Coldplay has just conquered Singapore and is now on to the Philippine leg of its “A Head Full Of Dreams” Asia tour. Coldplay Manila concert is on Tuesday, April 4, 8:00 p.m. at the MOA concert grounds. Lead singer Chris Martin arrived in the Philippines on April 2 together with creative director Phil Harvey. Chris arriving early means he is more than ready to perform under “a sky full of stars,” are you?

Coldplay Singapore Concert, Chris Martin Makes Up song for fans

The British band had a two-night performance at the National Stadium on March 31 and April 1 in Singapore. According to a report by The Straits Times, Coldplay’s SG concert sold out with 100,000 people.

Coldplay did more that just sing their hits on stage. Lead vocalist and songwriter Chris Martin performed a song, especially for SG fans. The song says, “Singapore, Singapore, Singapore, Well we’ve played here four times before, But the way that the crowd they roar, Means we’re gonna play here a helluva lot times more.” Watch the video of the songs posted via an SG fans tweet.

The songs played during their Singapore leg were the following: A Head Full Of Dreams, Yellow, Every Tear Drop, The Scientist, Birds, Paradise into Remix, Always In My Head, Magic, Clocks Into Midnight, Charlie Brown, Hymn For The Weekend, and Fix You.”

On March 31, Coldplay Philippines posted on Twitter a revised guideline for prohibited items in MOA grounds on April 4. These prohibited items include medication, prescription drugs, glass, PET bottles, aluminum bottles, cans or cups, weapons or laser pointers.

You probably have to know that even umbrellas, monopods or selfie sticks are not allowed. Posters or banners, big bags, large costumes, chairs of any kind, outside food and drinks will also not be allowed.

No Smoking unless it is in designated areas. The list goes on including flammable materials and double purpose security gadgets like pens with knives, helmets, flash drives, and flashlights. Not to mention, no pets allowed. To make sure, check the posted tweet below.

Now on to the things you should have. First off, you should have your Coldplay access card and your concert ticket to enter the concert grounds. Coldplay access Eplus cards can be claimed only until April 3 at the MOA Arena Box Office or at Sm Tickets or SM Mall of Asia. Although fans won’t be able to bring selfie sticks and monopods, you can rest assured that chargers and power banks will definitely be allowed. So make sure to capture each moment!
