The band performed their most recent and loved hits but more than that, they came to inspire and enjoy a bit of Philippine culture. They sing for a purpose and they play to inspire people to love and spread peace. Chris Martin embodies the image of the band. There are three reasons why Chris will never be forgotten in the Philippines. One is because Chris took the time to visit Ken, who bought a ticket to the concert but wasn’t able to make it since he was diagnosed with cancer and was being treated at that time. He did this just hours away from the concert. Chris and the band dedicated their performance to him and to every other Filipino going through the same thing. Another reason is Chris was spotted riding a bicycle around the concert grounds for everyone to see. As seen on Twitter, his bodyguards were trying to catch up with him while he was passing through fans who were right there! Awesome! Lastly, the band arrived at the venue riding Philippines’ own jeepney. Hats off to Coldplay who gave a touch of Philippine culture to a memorable night.
