Diego Loyzaga And Cesar Montano Controversy

Recently, Diego Loyzaga posted angry messages addressed to his father Cesar Montano via Instagram. Theses messages spoke of how Cesar “disowned” him as a son, how Cesar asked Diego to leave the house he gave him, and how is father wouldn’t believe that he is not a drug addict. After a day, all of his posts were taken down because he was asked to, which he said via Twitter.

Amidst this controversy, Cesar Montano’s ex-wife Sunshine Cruz and their daughters together with his mom Teresa Loyzaga, have shown support for the young actor according to a report by the Inquirer. Cesar Montano, on the other hand, has not released any statements on the issue yet.

1.Belongs to a family of Celebrities

Diego Loyzaga, apart from being the son of two celebrities, is the grandson of Filipino basketball legend Carlos Loyzaga. He is the nephew of actress Bing Loyzaga and of former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) players Chito Loyzaga and Joey Loyzaga.

2. Diego has three half sisters and 2 half brothers

Diego’s family background is a bit colorful. He has three half sisters from Cesar’s ex-wife Sunshine Cruz namely Angelina, Samantha, and Francheska. They are close by the way.

He also has a half-brother named Joseph Dizon from Teresa Loyzaga’s former husband Arnold Dizon. And lastly, his half brother named Christian Angelo from Cesar’s first wife. Diego lives with his mother and brother Joseph in Australia until he came back to the Philippines.

3. Past Girlfriends, rumored girlfriends, and Dream Girl

There were a couple of ladies linked to Diego while on and off camera. Zharm Arriola,  Daniel Padilla’s ex-girlfriend was a rumored girlfriend as well as Julia Montes in 2011. He was with Sofia Andres in 2016.

In an interview with ABS-CBN in2016, Diego described his dream girl as smart and ambitious. He said it didn’t matter if the girl was morena or mistisa, can dance or sing, as long as she’s smart. When asked who his celebrity crush is, Deigo chose Maja Salvador.

4. Three On screen match-ups

There were three on-screen match-ups for Diego. In 2015, he was with Kathryn Bernardo, in “Pangako Sa’yo.” Then he was with Julia Montes in “Growing Up” back in 2011. In 2010, he was on screen with Julia Barretto in Julia “Wansapanataym.”

In the same interview, Diego revealed his favorite movie, food and chose a country he would wish to visit if he could travel anywhere.
