Every year in April, the province of Zambales celebrates the sweetest mangoes in the Philippines with the Dinamulag Festival. The festival is named after the local name of carabao mangoes, “dinamulag” which are considered to be the sweetest in the country.

Zambales continues to be one of the major producers of mangoes in the country, with most of the harvest brought to other parts of Luzon and the Philippines. Aside from fresh mangoes, the province also has a variety of mango-based products such as wines and dried mangoes.
