Dingdong Dantes, the star for the upcoming GMA 7 show, “Alyas Robin Hood”, finally speaks about the controversy of the similarities between the CW show, “Arrow”. This spread like wild fire when actor Stephen Amell, the actor who plays the main character in “Arrow”, posted a tweet with the video trailer of “Alyas Robin Hood” with only a blushing emoji as caption.

In a recent interview with PEP, Dingdong said, “Alam ko na lahat ng programa nila ay dumadaan sa masusing pagsusuri, pagri-research, at kakaibang creative teams and mga nasa likod ng show ng GMA. That’s why confident ako sa lahat ng ibinibigay sa akin at tiwalang-tiwala ako sa lahat ng ibinibigay sa akin.” The actor further showed his support for GMA7 when he tells PEP of the 18 years that he has been working with the network. [I am aware that all programs produced by GMA7 goes through extensive research and scrutiny, and their are different creative teams working on different shows. So I am very confident of all roles that GMA gives me.]

In his interview, Dingdong also mentioned that he hasn’t watched the TV Series “Arrow” yet. He says that maybe after “Alyas Robin Hood” he may watch an episode or two. Meantime, he is focused on his character in the soon to be shown tele serye.

When asked about the tweet of Stephen Amell, he had this to say. “Natutuwa pa kame na yung trabaho namin, ipinapakita pa sa mas maraming tao. I believe na yung taong gumawa nun ay isang sikat na sa atin kaya marami rin ang humanga sa kanya. Kaya nagpapasalamat ako na nai-share niya yung pinaghirapan niya.” [We are happy that our work has reached alot of people. I believe that the person who did this is very famous person so alot of people look up to him and admire him. So i would like to thank him for sharing what he shared.]

“Alyas Robin Hood” premiered on September 19 at GMA7.
