Director Disappointed Over Leaked Photos Of Upcoming Kathniel Movie

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla star in the upcoming film “Can’t Help Falling In Love.” As of today, there are no official announcements of its release date. Fans, however, are posting behind-the-scene photos on social media, and director Mae Cruz-Alviar is disappointed.

‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ Director tells fans to stop posting BTS photos

On Jan 24, director Mae Cruz-Alviar took to Twitter to ask fans to stop posting photos of their shoot. The tweet read “Please, please, please don’t post bts photos of our shoot. Wala na pong matitira sa pelikula if you keep posting pics of our shoot.” Fans responded positively via the comment section and appeared to be cooperative.

Minutes after, Alviar posted another tweet expressing how hard it is filming the movie. She said it was “heartbreaking” to see these scenes out for everyone to see even before the movie is shown. Immediately after that, Alviar posted another tweet asking fans to delete these photos and again asked them not to post anymore.

On January 25, concerned netizens who have been posting kathniel photos on Twitter clarified some issues. One of them saying photos posted were only those with fans and Kathryn Bernardo. The other says they looked back on photos they’ve posted reviewed then and apologized sincerely. They even said they will be more “cognizant.”

After director Alviar made this public plea, there were no more behind-the-scene photos on social media except those with Kathniel and their fans.

The story of “Can’t Help Fallin In Love” revolves around Kathniel being accidentally married. Kathryn introduces herself as Daniel’s wife and shows a document to prove it. No official announcement on the release date of the movie. Fans have yet to wait for further announcements.
