Apple iPhone users from the Philippines can soon download Super Mario Run from iTunes. The much anticipated iOS app was announced in September, and its first version was rolled out Dec. 14 in the U.S. This Nintendo game is expected to transcend generations and thrill the “old school” players, who have enjoyed the game in older pre-Internet devices in their youth. iTunes describes the app as a “new kind of Mario game that you can play with one hand.”
iOS App Super Mario Run Excites Gamers
“In this game, Mario constantly moves forward through the courses while you use a variety of jumps to navigate. Mario will behave differently depending on the timing of your taps, so it’s up to you to show off particularly smooth moves, gather coins, and reach the goal,” reads the iTunes description.
To download Super Mario Run on your iPhone, iTouch or iPad, follow this iTunes link. The Nintendo game requires iOS 8.0 or later.
There are six worlds to clear to successfully play Super Mario Run. One’s mad tapping skills are needed to ace this game and rescue Princess Peach. Watch out for Toad Rally, an important element that will help players advance in the game via Coin Rush.
Players can download the new Mario app for free, but a full access to all game modes would set a gamer back by US$9.99.
