At 8 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) says Odette has maintained its strength as is continues to move towards Cagayan-Isabela area. Update as of 11 a.m. Signal No. 1 has also been raised in Batanes. at 10 a.m., the center of Tropical Depression Odette was estimated at 540 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. PAGASA says Odette may intensify into a Tropical Storm before making landfall in the province of Cagayan tonight. Odette PH updates, Class Suspensions According to PAGASA, Odette was estimated based on all available data at 655 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan. It has maximum winds of up to 55 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 65 kph. It is forecast to move west at 65 kph. PAGASA further says that on Friday, Odette will be in the area of Penablanca, Cagayan. On Saturday, it is forecast to be at Sinait, Ilocos Sur. On Sunday, it will be outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR). Meanwhile, Signal No. 1 has been raised in Cagayan including Babuyan group of Islands, Isabela, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur.
