The Kapamilya star rendered a soulful performance of “Chandelier” by Sia and grabbed the limelight on Steve Harvey’s Little Big Shots. Elha, who is known for her vocal prowess, high notes and whistle notes, astonished the viewers with her rendition of the song garnering around 36 million views.
When PEP asked, “Aside from Little Big Shots, are there any other U.S. programs she’d like to perform in?” Elha said,“Sana po mag-guest din ako sa Ellen!” Little Big Shots is incidentally co-produced by Ellen DeGeneres, who knows Elha would be in one of the episodes soon.
The 12-year-old shared her journey to the media during her press conference on March 3 at Privato Hotel. Elha shared how happy she was with her experience in performing at Steve Harvey’s show. The young singer also mentioned how she and the host bonded backstage together with other talented and exceptional kids like her, set to guest in “Little Big Shots.”
When the press asked her about how she got into the show, Elha recalled how her management, MCA Music, told her she has a guesting abroad. “Sobrang bilis na po ng pangyayari. Kumuha kami ng visa. Pagkatapos po namin kumuha ng visa, pumunta po agad kaming LA,” she said. Elha taped for the episode the previous year when she stayed in the United States for three weeks.
The powerhouse singer said she conditioned her voice and practiced her singing as her preparations for her American TV debut. She also acknowledged how her “Little Big Shots” guesting can bring many opportunities to her. In the report, Elha was quoted saying, “”Sobrang napakagandang opportunity po talaga nitong Little Big Shots kasi po isa din po ito sa para pong way para dumami po yung mga shows ko at ma-achieve yung mga gusto kong ma-achieve.”
