'Encantadia' Feb.13-17 Episodes: New Sang'gres Kate Valdez And Mikee Quintos Plus Inah De Belen And Jake Vargas

“Encantandia” episodes from Feb. 13 to Feb. 17 featured new sang’gres Mira (Kate Valdez) and Lira (Mikee Quintos.) Aside from the new sang’gres, new characters were also introduced in the show’s story plot. Inah De Belen takes the role of Luna, who grew up as a ‘nymfa’ but in reality a ‘diwata’, and Jake Vargas as Gilas who was Luna’s childhood friend. Just when we thought that the kingdom of Encantadia is going to be sound and peaceful, another challenge arises. From new characters to new obstacles the ‘sang’gres’ are bounded to face, the ‘telefantasya’ keeps to intensify as the story goes on. Avria, who was the former queen of the fallen kingdom of Etheria, was also brought back to life by Ether to control Cassiopeia to get the gems. Precious Reonisto plays Avria’s soul while Solenn Heussaff plays the role of Cassiopeia. Sure, there are a lot that has happened in just one week. In case you missed last week’s episodes of Encantadia, here are the latest happenings in the show.

New ‘sang’gres’ Plus A New Warrior Yet To Be Discovered

After Mira and Lira’s training with Cassiopeia, the two have finally become new sang’gres of “Encantadia.” Danaya, who was now Lireo’s queen after Amihan’s death, was happy to announce that Mira and Lira have successfully surpassed the training and succeeded to become sang’gres.

Alena was happy too to tell Pirena’s daughter, Mira, and Amihan and Ybarim’s daughter, Lira, that the two of them could possibly be Encantadia’s new great leaders. Alena also mentioned that there’s also another warrior from a strong and mighty family in Encantadia that could be a potential leader of the kingdom.

With Amihan’s sacrifice, Encantadia has gained peace. Many may have felt sad for Kylie Padilla’s departure from the show but there were also who were delighted for new characters to add colors and intensify the ‘telefantasya.’ (Click here to read what the cast and fans say about Kylie leaving Encantadia.)

On Feb. 13, the characters of Inah De Belen and Jake Vargas were formally introduced as Luna and Gilas respectively. Deshna grew up as Luna with her adoptive mother, Helgad who was played by Wyn Marquez. Luna was raised as a ‘nymfa’ and was kept from the ‘diwatas.’

Upon growing, Luna notices her differences from the family she knows and started to doubt. With so many questions which Helgad refused to answer, she decided to go on a journey to know who she really is. Luna’s childhood friend, Gilas, accompanied her until the two of them crossed paths with Mira and Lira who was having a bad encounter with the impostor Cassiopeia.

Ether to destroy Encantadia, Avria wins over Cassiopeia

Ether has resurrected the former queen of the fallen kingdom of Etheria, Avria who was played by Precious Reonisto. With Ether’s determination to destroy Encantandia, Avria’s soul was tasked to get inside of Cassiopeia’s body to control her. Ether and Avria succeeded and gained control over Cassiopeia.

Their force has planned to build a new kingdom that will soon ruin all kingdoms in Encantadia. Aquil, who was played by Rocco Nacino, got alarmed to see the newly built castle somewhere in Encantadia and has reported it to the sang’gres.

Aquil, Pirena and Danaya went to the castle to make sure that everything in Encantandia is settled. The three were surprised to see that it was Cassiopeia who was running the new kingdom. The three have left without knowing that someone else was controlling Cassiopeia.

Cassiopeia, An Impostor

Avria who is controlling Cassiopeia’s body used the opportunity to ask for the gems from the sang’gres. She said that since she has built a new kingdom, it will be best for all if she’ll be the one to handle the gems. It was her role anyway, she added.

Pirena and Danaya told Cassiopeia that they’ll discuss the matter first with the Lireo’s officials. Cassiopeia told them that she’ll get the gems when the time comes. The sang’gres, then started to wonder why Cassiopeia was acting strangely.

Mira and Lira encountered Cassiopeia. The two were confused when Cassiopeia didn’t recognize them. Cassiopeia even attacked Mira and Lira. Fortunately, Luna and Gilas were in the area and helped the two.

In the middle of the discussion in Lireo, Mira and Lira showed up to tell what just happened. The two concluded that the Cassiopeia they spoke with was an impostor. Pirena and Danaya immediately went to Cassiopeia’s castle to confront her.

Avria, who was acting as Cassiopeia, denied that she hurt Mira and Lira. She said that there was probably someone who was copying her identity. Pirena made a plan to test Cassiopeia.

Pirena returned to Cassiopeia’s castle in the form of her daughter, Mira, and confronted her. Cassiopeia clarified that it was not her who hurt the two of them but probably an impostor. Pirena asked Cassiopeia if she can protect her and ‘Mira’, the latter assured her.

Just when she thought that she was ahead of Pirena, who tried to fool her by copying her daughter’s form, Cassiopeia fell for Pirena’s trap when the latter intentionally mentioned the name of ‘Mira’ when she was actually Mira to prove that the former really doesn’t know who Mira and Lira are.

Pirena reported what she discovered to the kingdom of Lireo. The kingdom later agreed to get the impostor Cassiopeia from her kingdom. Cassiopeia decided to go the kingdom of Lireo right away to steal the gems herself. Catch Encantadia on GMA 7 from Mondays to Fridays at 7:45 PM.
