Encantadia Director, ‘No one is replacing Kylie Padilla’ Kylie Padilla, who plays the role of Amihan, faced a lot of controversies after the spread of the actress’ pregnancy rumors. As earlier reported, Kylie Padilla and her boyfriend, Aljur Abrenica, confirmed that the actress is indeed pregnant. The couple’s confirmation drew many speculations on Kylie and her portrayal of Amihan in Encantadia. A leaked photo of the set of Amihan’s death made many people jump to conclusions that it was a move to give way for Kylie’s pregnancy. There were also rumors that the actress will be replaced by an unnamed actress. Mark Reyes, Encantadia’s director, answered the issues and emphasized in a statement that it was not the end for Kylie Padilla. His statement was shared by GMA Corporate Communications via Instagram. According to the “telefantasiya’s” director, Encantadia still has a lot of stories to share about the show’s characters. Direk Mark added that the fans should believe in the power of the show because they still have a lot of ‘magic’ to do. The director also mentioned on his Facebook account that no one will replace Kylie.
